Design guide
Five tips for a perfect print.
- Walls of 1,5 mm or moreThinner works for small details, but walls of 1,5–2 mm are safe for handling and shipping.
- Closed, watertight meshesNo holes or loose faces. Not sure? We repair files as part of the check.
- Colour in the fileSend OBJ (with MTL + images) or FBX with its textures, together in one ZIP, or use GLB, 3MF or VRML.
- Units and scaleExport in millimetres. You can always rescale in the quote tool.
- Hollow large partsSaves weight and cost. Hollows need at least two drain holes of 3,5 mm; the quote tool flags closed hollows, or we hollow and drain for you.
